‘Little Joe’, aka Sergeant Slaughter, world class drummer, chief Ents Manager on tour, a fine Knight of the Travelodge (Voodoo Six Chapter) and fellow brave gentleman of rock!

Some people are born to do what they do, and ‘Little Joe’ falls in to that category. A pure natural, a true professional, he has the personality and temperament that any musician would be lucky to work with, and anyone would be proud to call a friend (he can make Tony laugh until water comes out his nose – genius).

The rest of us in Voodoo Six have been rewarding him by giving him the visual treat of watching our bottoms wiggle in front of him each night on tour, but I can tell you the pleasure is all ours. The skill with which he plays is what drives that wiggle, although in this respect I’m sure he’d prefer it if he played behind someone like Rhianna!

He may be known as ‘Little Joe’ but nothing could be with more in opposition to describing the size of this man’s huge….talent! (What did you think I was going to say?!)
